The Responsibilities of the Baby Shower Decorator

Baby Shower decorating is fun and easy if you plan and coordinate everything ahead of time. If there are others who are assisting in the planning, be sure to get all the information you need from them ahead of time. Below is a time line for the baby shower decorator to follow.

Three weeks prior to Shower:

1. Decide on the theme of the Shower – others will need this to complete their duties
2. Determine if there will be any Gift Baskets or Diaper Cakes
3. Make a shopping list of all items
4. After conducting a price comparison, select which stores you will purchase your items from
5. Order any items that need to be delivered via the mail

Two weeks prior to Shower:

1. Purchase all necessary items

One week prior to Shower:

1. Assemble all gift baskets and/or diaper cakes

Day prior to the Shower

1. Pack all items you have at home that need to go to the Baby Shower

Day of the Shower:

1. Decorate room, food table, gift table
2. Arrange tables and chairs as needed
3. Help with clean-up
