  1. You can design your own baby shower images with Paint software or you can easily create simple pictures/designs using the shapes and clip art available in Word.
  • To get to Paint go to Start → All Programs → Accessories → Paint
  • To get to the shapes in Word → Click on Insert → Shapes
  • In the event that you use a background image, be sure to watermark them and use dark lettering.
  • Also, if you are having difficulty getting your text to appear where you would like it to on the invitation, insert a text box, (Click on Insert → Click on Text Box), where you would like the wording to appear and then input your text in the text box.
  • Print the invitations out on plain paper before you print on your card stock or glossy paper to see what it will look like.
  • When you are finished designing your invitations, you can print them out on card stock or glossy paper. Remember to set your paper dimensions for the invitation to A5, or you may choose to leave it at Legal size and make a fold-able invitation.
  • Decorate with ribbon, Baby Shower confetti, or Rub-on Wordage. Embellish with a heavyweight colorful background and lace ribbon.
