Baby Shower Notepad Instructions

Baby Shower Notepad

You will need:

  • Word or Notepad
  • Printing Paper
  • Paper Cutter
  • Cardboard
  • Slightly Heavy Object, like a book
  • Sobo Adhesive
  • Paintbrush
  • Magnet, optional
  • Hole Puncher, optional

Directions:

  1. Open up Word and design page 1 as you would like the notepad pages to appear. Do not worry about having multiple images on the page until you print.
  • Tip – I used a stroller I drew in Paint as a Watermark image for my notepad pages. To do this go to Page Layout → Watermark → Custom Watermark → Select Picture Watermark and click on the button that says “Select Picture” → Browse until you find the desired picture, by default it will be in My Pictures → Apply
  • I added the Name and Date at the bottom as a footer
  • Add three more blank pages and these pages will automatically have the footer and the watermark on them.
  • In the Print Options box, print 2 or 4 pages per a sheet.
  • Using a paper cutter, cut your page up as you divided it and add holes if you would like.
  • Cut your cardboard to be the same length as your notepad pages.
  • Place notepad pages on top of cardboard and tap and shape to be sure that all sides are even.
  • Place something heavy, like a book, on top and use your paint brush to liberally apply your glue to the top.
  • Allow your notepad to dry over night.
  • Note: As stated earlier, add a mini pencil, pen, or highlighter by placing on top the notepad. Tie a piece of ribbon around them both and wah lah!

    To attach pencil and ribbon:

    You will need:

    • Craft ribbon
    • Mini pencil

    Directions:

    1. Take you notepad and tie your craft ribbon around it once, place pencil in the middle and complete your tie with the pencil in the middle.
